I am drawn to unfamiliar ground, to problems that matter to real people, and to building solutions that hold up once others rely on them. I lead a C4I detachment in the Singapore Armed Forces on live operations such as the National Day Parade, and in 2027 I begin Computer Science at NUS, with a focus on artificial intelligence.
My company kept attendance, leave and duty rosters in spreadsheets until I pitched a replacement to command, won approval and led the rollout as sole developer. The Military Integrated Management System now handles all three. In Apollo, my arrangement compiler, a language model drafts the musical lines and a gate rejects anything it cannot vouch for. I would rather a system refuse an output than pass on a confident mistake.
The Work Simulation Program took me into a market and a language outside my own, growing Coca-Cola's healthy portfolio in Indonesia. I fact-checked the brief's own figures, coded local forum discussion and staged the spend behind decision gates, starting with a test against holdout cities. I reported a base case that did not flatter the plan.
At Raffles Institution, I chaired Raffles Interact, later serving as its Service In-charge, and led a patrol in the 01 Raffles Scout Group. In my unit, I train peers and junior platoons to run our equipment. I look for problems, in technology, business or finance, that I have not yet learned to solve.
